So it’s been almost 2 months since I decided to create this blog. The main reason being my love the different types of architecture found in the cathedrals and churches in this country and beyond. Secondly, I’ve built up a wealth of material from my recent time spent working in the south west of England.

I’ve put up posts with pictures and information on the buildings I have visited in the past few months and also a few from my travels further afield. One of my other passions is to travel as you may have guessed from some of the far flung posts! I will therefore post some things from these trips, especially if they have a religious significance. It might become a wee bit of a travel blog, but I am sure you won’t mind.

Just last Sunday, I returned from a short vacation to India. I spent a few days in Hyderabad before travelling up to Delhi. As you can imagine, India is a riot of colour and amazing sights. There are so many different styles of architecture there from all the different people who have colonised this vast country. I am going to put up some pictures from my visits to Humayun’s Tomb and Qutb Minar and will create a new section for them under ‘Other Places’.
