St. Mark’s Cathedral – Bengaluru, India

 

This cathedral was founded in 1808 and the current building dates from 1927. It is built in the English Baroque style and was inspired by St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. It is the mother church of the Diocese of Central Karnataka of the Church of Southern India. It is located at the west end of MG Road set in beautiful tree lined grounds which offer a peaceful refuge from the traffic.
