Following on from my trip to the Philippines, I headed to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia for a few days before flying back to the UK. I had already visited KL back in 2013, but wanted to revisit for more exploration!
KL is a big city but so much easier to get around than Manila and it’s total traffic chaos. I managed to pay a visit to the Anglican Cathedral of St. Mary’s and the Thean Hou Temple. I had planned to visit the Jamek Mosque but the afternoon downpour began the next day was Friday, so perhaps next time. I did however revisit the Islamic Arts Museum of Malaysia. This is a fantastic place and I really enjoyed the display about the evolution of mosque architecture throughout the Islamic world. There is also a rather lovely restaurant and well stocked gift shop.
