This is an Anglican church located in the city of Florence in Italy. It forms part of the chaplaincy of St. Mark’s Florence with Holy Cross Bologna, in the Diocese of Europe within the Church of England.
The Reverend Charles Tooth founded the church as a centre of worship of Anglo-Catholic members of the Anglican church in Florence. He purchased the 15th century palazzo in 1880 to meet the new congregation’s needs. The wall and ceiling decorations were designed and created by John Roddam Spencer at his own expense. The interior is decorated in the Pre-Raphaelite style. The church was damaged in the Arno flood of 1966.
